Update: More Than 100 Positions For Grabs at Upcoming Banning Job Fair

The city says the event is now at "full capacity."

Dozens of employers have now signed on to offer more than 100 employment opportunities at an upcoming job fair hosted by the city of Banning.

As of Thursday, the employment resource fair is now at full capacity with 28 companies scheduled to attend the Sept. 5 event, according to City Spokesman Bill Manis.  More than 100 jobs are on the table, he said.

Manis tells Patch that he's anticipating between 300 to 500 applicants attend.

Some opportunities include positions at local restaurants, manufacturing jobs, sales jobs, and retail jobs, Manis said.

The event will be held at the Banning Community Center, located at 789 N. San Gorgonio Avenue, from 9 a.m. until noon.  Attendees should dress professionally, bring their resume and be prepared to answer some initial interview questions.
