Update: Yucaipa Teen Arrested in Beaumont Chase.

Police chasing a pair of suspected car thieves sent law enforcement speeding down Beaumont Avenue Wednesday night.
The chase happened just after 7:30 p.m. and started in the area of Pennsylvania and Oak Valley Parkway, according to Beaumont police dispatch.
Police tried to initiate a traffic stop upon noticing the vehicle, which had been reported stolen out of Yucaipa. When the driver didn't pull over, a pursuit ensued. Patch readers reported seeing several police units speeding down Beaumont Ave.
Within 15 minutes, though, the chase came to an end near the Precision Stampings building on Egan, south of 6th Street, Patch is told.
Two people were in custody as of 9 p.m. Wednesday, but the investigation was continuing and further information wasn't immediately available.
