The biggest challenge for Beaumont Unified has been keeping apace with the city's rapid growth. The district has more…More than 8,000 students and 350 teachers. While the district office remains in a quaint Depression-era building that was once Beaumont City Hall, many of the schools are spanking-new, including Beaumont High School.
According to Superintendent Barry Kayrell, the high school has the sixth best graduation rate in Riverside County and the fourth lowest dropout rate. Two grammar schools, Brookside and Tournament Hills, earned California Distinguished School Awards.
