A 12 gauge shotgun works wonders when subhuman zombies attempt to create drama. Be sure to drag theRead More corpse quickly into the house and put a kitchen knife into its hand. Tell the police nothing other than "I was so scared".....

You REALLY can't cure stupid!!! Wonder what gene pool these two rocket scientists have beenRead More swimming in.
Libi Uremovic April 17, 2014 at 08:10 pm
shouldn't there also be federal charges since it was a bank ??
beaumontdave April 18, 2014 at 04:41 am
No, as dumb as this crime is, it's still safer than bank robbery, and isn't charged the same.

Joey Bagdano, why did you bring politics into this.....Liberal or conservative has nothing to doRead More with this. You must be a stupid republican. Back to the topic, at first I thought the judge went too far, but after reading what she did, and her snickering and eye rolling, I don't blame him.
tamarya April 18, 2014 at 05:50 am
If this was a domestic incident and she stabbed because he was hurting her then good for him. UntilRead More they protect victims of domestic abuse this is what shoukd occur and she has every right to laugh at what she did. Now if she committed a random killing then i side with the judge.
JDBlackhawk April 18, 2014 at 06:02 am
Give her a few more hot dogs and a few big gulps, maybe she'll explode herself and save the expenseRead More of keeping her in prison. You know what it's going to cost Michigan to feed her? I don't favor the the death penalty in certain circumstances, but apparently she does. And the judge-I think he showed restraint considering her complete lack of respect, obviously for not only everyone else but herself as well. Isn't contempt of court another felony or misdemeanor?

Have you ever heard the expression "Hoisted on his own petard." Sorry for the crypticRead More Shakespeare folks, but it means.... "to be harmed or disadvantaged by an action of one's own, which was meant to harm someone else.". It's from a line in Shakespeare's Hamlet.) Example: "She intended to murder her brother but was hoist with her own petard when she ate the poisoned food intended for him." Lloyd White you are a treasure. May you never be hoist on your own petard.

He talks in the interview about "adding value" to the land he buys. The only added value IRead More can see that he is proposing for Cherry Valley is adding value to his own bank account. Rezoning from residential to industrial in a primarily residential area is devaluing the property and the area, not adding value.
Steve Mehlman April 17, 2014 at 09:05 pm
This is a devastating indictment of the Shopoff Group. Shopoff's people will be testifying at theRead More Ashley Gateway Committee meeting on Thursday May 8 at. 6:30 pm at the Beaumont School District Office on Brookside Avenue in Beaumont. We need to show up in force to show Mr Shopoff what we think of his business plan .

Horses should not be nose to exhaust pipe on city streets. That is cruelty and the horse had hadRead More enough.
kathleen macmurray April 17, 2014 at 05:46 am
A horse and carriage ride in a park, fine. But not on busy, crowded city streets. It's cruel to theRead More horse and dangerous to everyone else. I'm with the NYC mayor on this one.

The price of pork can also go up because the price of beef is up. It's not just weather andRead More disease, it's also cost of fuel.

With prices rising in all industries, I call it the disease of liberal Democrats! And it is theRead More disease that will wipe out civilization!
mark April 18, 2014 at 05:23 am
When taxes are imposed on various industries then to stay in business the prices increase on theRead More consumer! Obamacare , gas taxes, payroll taxes, tolls, the proposed soda and candy tax , your tobacco tax is 75% of what the product really costs! Commercial Property tax increases! Do you people see what's going on here? This country is being destroyed by the Democrats! It is starting to resemble The a Soviet Union! We should change the name of this country to the USSA!

So everyone at the window had theirs paid for, and then bought the order of the car behind? Nice IRead More guess, but I don't really see a point or goal.
ATC April 16, 2014 at 03:37 pm
It is nice to see a continuous effort to pay it forward, but the statement that "I know thatRead More was the most we have ever had... we have the receipts to prove it." is kind of a stupid claim. How would the receipts possibly prove "who" paid for which bill?

I live here in the neighborhood and I will tell you that it is windy a lot, but I wouldn't say it isRead More windy 340 days a year. The attraction is the beautiful views, the fact that it is close to every recreational activity in the desert. It isn't crowded. No city street lights so star gazing is awesome. It is much warmer here in the winter than in Beaumont and only a few degrees warmer in the summer. btw the centeral jail or hub jail issue has already been fought and won. No jail of any kind will be going here.
beaumontdave April 15, 2014 at 06:38 pm
Susan if you're happy there, I'm good. The views are great, but unless I get Stubby Canyon CattleRead More Ranch, up in that canyon, I'm not moving

Danny Thomas owned a house on Cherry Valley Blvd, right across from the old egg ranch. The house isRead More gone, but the double loop driveway is still there, although it is severely deteriorated. It can be seen on Google Maps,, north side of CV Blvd, a little more than a mile east of I-10. It's actually just east of the proposed Gateway project. It was a single story ranch style house, fairly large size but not overwhelming.

One guess about what Supervisor Ashley might do. He might publicly say that he has gotten theRead More message from the people and the committee and will vote against rezoning. However, behind closed doors, he may have already gotten his four colleagues on the Board of Supervisors to agree to vote Yes on the project (several of them have other Shopoff Group projects in their districts). So Ashley looks like a "hero" while his developer buddy gets his way. A "win-win" all around--except for the citizens he is supposed to represent.
