Heard it - not much to feel. Enough to cause me to pause & wait...."Could this be the bigRead More one?"... Thankfully, no.

Funny how Murrietta and Temecula seem to have all the water they need, but that's because they pullRead More from San Diego and they seem to have more water then they know what to do with. Water rationing's are not required in Orange County or LA either they were lifted months ago unlike Lake Elsinore. How about the water district let me use my gray water to take care of my lawns and landscape, no sense in letting washing machine, shower, dish washer water flow into the septic tank. It would recycle my water, my landscape would love it and would be no need to use other water for my yards, creating water conservation and lowering my water bill from over usage and fines. There should be other options then just rationing, penalties and high rates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greg M July 9, 2014 at 01:38 pm
I know that most people are fairly conscience of their water usage, and try to conserve where theyRead More can. But when the water authorities continue to hand out "will serve" notices in a time of drought, it seems as though they are not setting a very good example for their ratepayers, and they are not being very good stewards of our available resources.
Donna July 9, 2014 at 11:42 pm
Well the city also needs to watch what water they are using.. Water running out of flower beds ofRead More the city and running into the streets, sidewalks.. When I see this happening again I will let them know they need to adjust it.. They need to watch how they use water just like us..

Attn: Mr. R. Terry Date: Monday June 09, 2014 It is because of gamblingRead More that some horses and bulls lose their lives. When horses continue to have a losing streak the owner is not making any cash off that horse, it is off to the Glue Factory with that horse. If a horse breaks it's leg in the race it is off to the Glue Factory with that horse. Bulls will die automatically in a Bull Fight after the Matador sticks both swords in the bull's throat from the left and right side of the bull. So don't tell me gambling has nothing to do with your comment. I understood what you were saying. But these animals are going to be killed if there is no money to be made that is all there is to it. I don't like it anymore than you do. But it seems that way the ball bounces and one of us is going to have to catch and stop that ball from bouncing. The best. Also, Cliff, please remember that the majority of warehousing jobs are temporary jobs filled throughRead More temp agencies, with no benefits and low salaries. Yes, a $22,000 job is important. But ask yourself why the warehouse developers want you to believe that the median wage for warehouse jobs is $44,000-a-year--when the facts show otherwise. And please don't be fooled by promises of huge numbers of jobs. Skechers initially promised 2,400 new jobs for its warehouse off the 60 in Moreno Valley. The reality: only about 100 new jobs were created. Finally, keep in mind that the Gateway Warehouse won't be built, sold or leased, and ready to hire people for at least two to three years. There are warehouse jobs in the area that will be available long before that. For example, as Nancy Carroll said the Aldi company is already breaking ground on a major grocery warehouse in Moreno Valley.
calimesajim June 8, 2014 at 07:26 pm
Cliff, my post about low paying jobs was meant to show that the developer is lying when he says theRead More warehouse jobs will pay $44,000 a year. We don't know how many jobs there would be because the developer admitted they might not even build a warehouse, just sell the property (after value increase due to zone change. No snobbery intended.

How horrible, that poor man. No excuse for this kind of an accident to have happened.
Ari Mab June 10, 2014 at 10:00 am
I was waiting in the traffic when this accident happened. Had no idea that another vehicle wasRead More involved, looked like it was just 2 big rigs. I am so heart broken for the family of this man! Prayers are with his family! As I know somewhat of the feeling...my Father in law was in a crash through the bad lands and it almost took his life. Thank YOU, Jesus, he is alive and well! He is still recovering and it still affects him and all of us. What matters the most is he is alive! There are just too many accidents through the bad lands period. Something must be done to try to reduce them. CHP, sheriffs, needs to be in there more often!! There are too many big rigs through there and they go pretty fast or too slow. Same with the other drivers no matter where you go, they are around. We all need to be more cautious and do our best when driving.
ATC June 10, 2014 at 08:48 pm
Ari, there wasn't any other vehicles involved; only the 2 trucks. One was a Freightliner, one was aRead More Volvo. There are plans to add a 3rd lane, for trucks, on the eastbound side, for the slow trucks.

Sigh. I hate that the main reasoning for why this shouldn't be allowed is that teens might abuse it.Read More It's not for teens, it's for adults. The law deals with underage drinking the best it can, by educating teens about the dangers in school and requiring valid ID to purchase alcohol, but at the end of the day the responsibility lands on parents talking to their kids, and keeping an eye on them to prevent this from happening. We shouldn't be banning things meant for adults because other people's kids might get their hands on it.
