City of Banning Police Department

Flag as Inappropriate

One of a dozen independent police departments in Riverside County — most cities contract law enforcement from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department — the Banning PD is led by the county's youngest police chief, Leonard Purvis.  The department recently opened a $14 million police station adjacent to City Hall.  The facility also houses a multi-agency gang task force and an outreach office for County Supervisor Marion Ashley.
