VIDEO: Fire Weather Watch, Santa Ana Wind Watch for the Pass Area

A fire weather watch and a Santa Ana wind watch have been issued by forecasters for an area including the San Gorgonio through the weekend.

Residents can expect "moderate to locally strong northeast to east winds early Saturday through at least Sunday with very dry conditions," according to the National Weather Service.

The northeast winds will initially begin across San Bernardino County and Orange County early Dec. 14, spread south and turn more easterly during the day, according to the Weather Service.

"These winds will combine with low humidity values of less than 15 percent to elevate the wildfire danger," the Weather Service advised.

The Southern California Weather Authority issued a Santa Ana wind watch that includes the Pass area on Thursday. See this link for more info.
