High Wind Warning Includes West San Gorgonio Pass, Parts of Inland Empire

Winds gusting up to 65 miles per hour are possible Sunday for an area including the west San Gorgonio Pass and parts of the Inland Empire, according to the National Weather Service.

A high wind warning has been issued for San Bernardino Mountain slopes and foothills, especially below the Cajon Pass, and a wind advisory has been issued for the San Jacinto Mountains and the Coachella Valley along and north of the Interstate 10 corridor.

The high wind warning and wind advisory are in effect from 3 a.m. Dec. 29 to 6 p.m. Dec. 29.

Northeast winds of 20 to 35 mph are possible with local peak gusts of 60 to 70 mph in some locations, according to the Weather Service.
