A freeze warning for overnight temps of 32 to 26 degrees has been issued for the San Gorgonio Pass area including Banning, Beaumont, Cherry Valley and Yucaipa.
"Overnight temperatures for tonight, Thursday night, and Friday night will have the arctic-air mass in place behind the cold front," the Southern California Weather Authority advised Dec. 4.
A hard freeze warning for temps of 25 and below was issued that includes Morongo Basin and Joshua Tree National Park.
Residents in freeze warning and/or hard freeze warning areas should take steps to protect people, pets, plants, and pipes, the Weather Authority advised.
