Pass Area Performing Artists to Stage 'You're a Good Man Charlie Brown'

Pass Area Performing Artists plan to stage "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" in Banning in May, a spokeswoman for the group announced Wednesday.

The show 1967 musical comedy of the same name featured music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, and it was based on the "Peanuts" comic strip by Charles M. Schultz.

Banning performances are scheduled May 18-20 and May 25-27 at Banning Woman's Club, 175 W. Hays St., Norma Ferrales said. Tickets are $12.

The Pass Area Performing Artists production will be directed by Mado Nunez, and feature Katie Fitch as Lucy, William Callas as Charlie Brown, Zenun Odam as Linus, Myk Williams as Schroeder and Joey Mercado as Sally, "as well as a very special guest as Snoopy," Ferrales said.
