King's Table Ministries 'Country Jamboree' Benefit Oct. 15 in Beaumont

Charity organizers hope to raise funds for local families in need of holiday meals and for their Christmas toy drive, said King's Table event coordinator LaDena Negron.

King's Table Ministries of Beaumont is planning a Country Jamboree on Oct. 15 to raise funds for local families in need of holiday meals and for the charity's Christmas toy drive.

The event will include local entertainment, including two performances by Tumble City and a Zumba presentation, said King's Table event coordinator LaDena Negron.

"A local artist will paint a picture to music to be raffled off during the day," Negron said. "We will have raffles on and off throughout the day with fun items."

Local venders at the event will include Dollar Topia, Sew Cute by Didolee, JK Crafts, and Iced and Frosted, Negron said.

Buffalo Bawbs BBQ will be there too, Negron said.

King's Table Ministries, Inc., of Beaumont, is a registered non-profit, director Galo Galvez said. The federal tax identification number is 26-0361146.

The non-profit helps distribute free food in Beaumont and the San Gorgonio Pass area, and in other countries, including El Salvador, Galvez said.

Tax-deductible donations are used to purchase food from the Western Eagle Foundation Food Bank for local distribution.

King's Table Ministries is at 635 Veile Ave., just north of West 6th Street.
