Healing Arts Reception 5p-7p Thursday at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital

The event is scheduled 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, at 600 N. Highland Springs Ave., Banning. Attendees should use the hospital's main entrance, organizers said.

A new phase of the Healing Arts Program, a partnership of the Banning Cultural Alliance and San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, will be unveiled Thursday, Aug. 4, organizers said.

The and hospital officials plan to host a reception to showcase the work of nine local artists now on display at San Gorgonio Memorial.

The reception, which includes light refreshments in a courtyard area, is scheduled 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and it is open to the public, organizers said.

Current artists participating in the Healing Arts Program are Mary Backer, Doris Collins, Marilynn Hollis, Douglas Kiser, Lola Lammers, Alice O'Neil, Sharon Rachal and Clidine Roper, organizers said.

Reception attendees should use the main entrance at , organizers said. The hospital's address is 600 N. Highland Springs Ave., Banning.
