Top Softball Players coming to Hemet and Beaumont
College coaches and recruiters will be looking at the area's top talent this weekend
Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District will be hosting the Surf City Halloween Showcase Saturday, October 27 & Sunday, October 28, 2012.
The tournament will be held in Hemet and at the Noble Creek Community Park in Beaumont. Surf City Tourneys welcome all College Recruiters to the showcase tournaments. There will be 150 teams in Beaumont and Hemet from all over the country. 50 to 60 girls will get scholarships from these tournaments.
The colleges include UCLA, Oregon, Washington, all Pac 10 schools and several from the East coast area. There will be 60-70 college coaches here to watch the girl’s softball games. Bruce Blake, Athletic Coordinator for the Park District said, “We are lucky to have one of the largest college recruiting tournaments here in Beaumont.”
