Beaumont Water Polo To Face Elsinore's Temescal Canyon Saturday For CIF Title
After a thrilling semifinal victory over Oaks Christian, the No. 1-ranked Cougars will meet the Titans Saturday in Irvine for the Division 6 title.
Beaumont High boy’s water polo will appear in its first CIF-Southern Section title game Saturday at the William Woollett Aquatic Center in Irvine.
The Cougars (24-8), ranked No. 1 in Division 6 all season, will face Temescal Canyon High from Lake Elsinore at 10:30 a.m.
To advance to the finals, the Cougars defeated Oaks Christian High from Westlake Village, 10-9, in Wednesday's semifinal match to earn their way into the title game.

In a tightly-contested match, the Cougars fell behind 7-4 midway through the third quarter, then scored the final three goals of the period to tie the score. After OCHS went ahead 8-7, the Cougars scored the next three goals to go ahead 10-8. OCHS scored a final goal with 19 seconds remaining to account for the final tally.

General admission tickets will cost $8. Students with a high school ID card can purchase tickets for $5 and children 13-and-under will also cost $5.
