Beaumont High will continue the boys’ soccer season by hosting a CIF-Southern Section Div. 6 quarterfinal on Friday.
The Cougars (14-6-5) will face San Juan Capistrano St. Margaret’s in a 3 p.m. contest.
Beaumont advanced into its quarterfinal with a 3-2 overtime win at Sherman Oaks Buckley on Wednesday. It was the second straight overtime victory for the Cougars. The first was an 8-7 sudden death shootout win over Thermal Desert Mirage.

The Tartans (18-7-2) completed the regular season with the Academy League title and are riding a 10 game win streak. They opened the playoffs with a 2-0 win over Villanova Prep and on Wednesday advanced with a 1-0 win over Norte Dame.
