TONIGHT: 'Fine Arts Show' Features Work of Boys & Girls Club Members

The free event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27 at the Haven restaurant in Banning.

Art created by members of the Boys & Girls Club of the San Gorgonio Pass will be on display Wednesday night for the community to enjoy.

The display is part of the group's second annual fine arts show, as an effort to showcase the work of local young artists.

"As participants in the BGCA National Fine Arts Program, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass held a local fine arts competition in early February where submissions from their eleven Clubs were judged by community members," the organization said in a press release.

“We are very proud of our members and the artwork that they’ve created. The fine arts program gives them an opportunity to learn about all aspects of art and gives them an outlet for their creativity. It is enriching programs like this one that allows us to spark their imagination and inspire them to reach their full potential,” said Amy Herr, CEO.
