Art created by members of the Boys & Girls Club of the San Gorgonio Pass will be on display Wednesday night for the community to enjoy.
The display is part of the group's second annual fine arts show, as an effort to showcase the work of local young artists.
"As participants in the BGCA National Fine Arts Program, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass held a local fine arts competition in early February where submissions from their eleven Clubs were judged by community members," the organization said in a press release.
Wednesday's art show will feature the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from the Club’s local fine arts competition.
After the show, the 1st place winners go on to compete in the regional fine arts competition, which includes clubs from Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Alaska, Washington, Hawaii Utah and Japan.
The public is encouraged to come check the art out at The Haven, 42 West Ramsey Street, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
“We are very proud of our members and the artwork that they’ve created. The fine arts program gives them an opportunity to learn about all aspects of art and gives them an outlet for their creativity. It is enriching programs like this one that allows us to spark their imagination and inspire them to reach their full potential,” said Amy Herr, CEO.
