Registration for After-School Camp Opens

Parents can begin signing their children up for the 2012-13 school year on Thursday.

The City of Beaumont is offering an after-school day camp for children in K through 5th grade. 

The camp is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Albert A. Chatigny Sr. Community Recreation Center in Beaumont. It will also be open during school holidays and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. over summer break for children age 5 to 14.

Activities include arts and crafts, a computer lab and play structures.

Registration begins Thursday and enrollment forms are available at the Chatigny Community Recreation Center, 1310 Oak Valley Parkway. They can be also be downloaded at the city's website.

A donation of $15 per week is requested.
