Pass Trasit Offers Free Rides to Beaumont Unified Students and Parents

Students and their parents can ride the buses for a week, familiarizing themselves with the system.

Beaumont Unified School District children and their parents will get to test out the Pass Transit system for free next week.

The free rides will be available from Monday, Aug. 6 to Tuesday, Aug. 14.

"The intent of the 'Back to Class with Pass Transit' program is to assist new riders in familiarizing themselves with the transit system, specifically the routes that can take them to and from school," said City of Beaumont spokeswoman Ashley Starr in a statement. "The program is also an opportunity for parents to ride the bus and see for themselves that the Pass Transit system is a safe means of transportation to school."
