More Banning Cheer Fundraisers This Week to Help Pay for Trip to Nationals

Members of the Banning Broncos Cheer Team have several more events planned this week to raise money for their upcoming national competition.

- From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday April 4, at the in Beaumont, 20 percent of purchases will be donated to the team, cheer booster Melanie Lara said.

- From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday April 5, it's "Tip a Cheerleader Night" at in Beaumont.

- From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday April 6, at the in Beaumont, 20 percent of purchases will be donated to team, Lara said.

- From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday April 7, Broncos Cheer members will hold a carwash at Applebee's in Beaumont.

Banning High cheerleaders last year at the Sharp International Las Vegas 2011 National Title Cheerleading Championship, and they're raising money to compete in Nevada again this year.

The Sharp Nationals are scheduled Saturday April 21 at the Cashman Center in Las Vegas, Lara said.
