Family of Amber Ann Muschwitz Tries to Raise Headstone Funds by Christmas

The 18-year-old Redlands resident was struck and fatally injured by a car on Greenspot Road in Highland the morning of Sept. 12, 2012.

The family of a young Redlands woman who died in a traffic accident on Sept. 12 in Highland is trying to raise funds to pay for her headstone by Christmas.

Amber Ann Muschwitz, 18, was struck and fatally injured by a car on Greenspot Road in Highland the morning of Sept. 12, 2012.

Amber graduated in June 2012 from Citrus Valley High School in Redlands.

"Her adoring friends and family have done what they can and are selling bracelets, but headstones are expensive," a flier for the fundraising effort states. "A memorial fund has been established to collect donations. Will you Help? Thank You!"

Ricardo Garibay, a manager at the Wells Fargo Bank on Greenspot Road, confirmed Friday a memorial account for Amber Ann Muschwitz has been set up.

The account number is 122000247 and the routing number is 9298120958.

A printable fundraiser flier is attached to this report. Amber's family and loved ones have also set up the Facebook page RIP Amber Ann Muschwitz.

Not sure who to contact, but I would be more than happy to get the stone ordered at wholesale price for them if they haven't already had it put into production with another company. Contact me, Jenny - sunsetfuneralcare@aol.com

Amber was buried at Hollywood Forever Cemetery and they are quite expensive. My understanding is that we can either order a headstone through them or order one through another company and the cemetery will charge a $2,000 "installation" fee. We are doing our best to raise enough funds to provide Amber with the headstone she deserves. <3

Awww...She's buried at Hollywood Forever, with the stars, but none of them can hold a candle to her beauty...I'll try to make a donation...
