Beaumont High Shortstop Stephanie Tickemyer to Sign with UC-Riverside

Stephanie has earned a cumulative 4.07 GPA, and she's helped lead Beaumont to the CIF division 5 championship game in each of the past two seasons, Cougars AD Martin DuSold said.

Beaumont High School senior shortstop Stephanie Tickemyer will sign to play softball for the University of California-Riverside, her athletic director announced Thursday.

Stephanie has earned a cumulative 4.07 GPA, and she's helped lead Beaumont to the California Interscholastic Federation division 5 championship game in each of the past two seasons, Cougars Athletic Director Martin DuSold said.

"She was a 1st team all-CIF selection last spring as a junior, and has received 1st team all-Mountain Pass league honors each of her 3 varsity seasons," DuSold said. "Stephanie's career statistics include a .421 batting average, 11 HR, 82 RBI, and 84 runs scored."

Stephanie plans to sign a National Letter of Intent during the NCAA early-signing period in November, DuSold said.
