Beaumont Getting Ready for Citrus Hill

Cougars coming off victory over Banning, preparing for visit to Perris, where they take on Citrus Hill on Friday night.

The Beaumont varsity football team practiced Wednesday in preparation for a visit Friday to Perris, where the Cougars will take on Citrus Hill.

Beaumont improved last week to 2-3 for the season with a 38-0 victory over Banning in the annual "War for the Wheel." The Banning-Beaumont rivalry is billed as the oldest football rivalry in Riverside County.

The victory provided momentum for the Cougars as they head into Mountain Pass League play this week.
