My Perspective on the Beaumont Cherry Valley Water Board Election

The elections of the directors for the Beaumont Cherry Valley Water District represent one of the most important government agencies serving the Citizens of Beaumont. Without water we cannot live. Without water our businesses cannot function and our community would be able to survive. For District 2 we have two choices Lindsey Burcham and Ken Ross. Ken has represented District 2 for the past 4 years. During this time rates have went up, cooperation with the City of Beaumont and other public entities have been non existence. They hired a new General Manager who only wants to further set up road blocks to getting thing done.  Lindsey Burcham on the other had is individual who is not afraid to ask the hard questions and get people to start working together.  She doesn’t have an agenda other then working to keep our water costs down and to make sure that we do all we can to import and recycle our current available water. We need a younger citizen such as Lindsey to be on the Water Board as she can provide invaluable insight and direction that shape the direction of our Water District and community for years to come.
