Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day Friday at Noble Creek Park in Beaumont
A ceremony is planned at 4 p.m. Friday March 30 in the quad area at Noble Creek Park, near the Beaumont Youth Baseball snack bar.

The Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District is hosting the event, district Activities Coordinator Diane Gonzalez said.

The flag ceremony will include local Girl Scouts and the National Anthem sung by Angel Zoske, Gonzalez said. A representative for state Sen. , R-Hemet, will be on hand.
"There will be a presentation of certificates from Senator Emmerson’s Office to the Vietnam Veterans, photograph with Beaumont Youth Baseball and the veterans will be tossing out the first pitch for each of the Beaumont Youth Baseball games that begin at 5:00 pm.," Gonzalelez said in a statement.
