Stoppe Owners Project Opening at Haven in Downtown Banning on Nov. 26

Lamese Ugapo says he will retain the Haven name at the corner of San Gorgonio and Ramsey.

The new owners of The Haven in downtown Banning intend to open Nov. 26, two weeks later than previously announced, Lamese Ugapo said this week.

The Ugapos, owners of The Stoppe in Beaumont, touted the opening of their new location in October.

According to Ugapo's recent Facebook posts, he and his staff will offer signature sandwiches created especially for The Haven, including "Smoked Salmon, Roma tomatoes, fresh arugula tossed in olive oil, lemon juice, pink Himalayan sea salt, black pepper and crushed red pepper. Served on grilled ciabatta bread with black pepper mayo. Quite honestly one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had."
