Prescription Drug Drop-Off Saturday 4/28 Offered by Beaumont Police + DEA

The free, anonymous service is planned 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Beaumont Civic Center, 550 E. 6th St., city officials said.

The Beaumont Police Department and the federal Drug Enforcement Agency are offering a prescription drug drop-off on Saturday April 28, city officials said in an announcement.

Police and the DEA "will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs," the announcement states.

"Bring your medications for disposal . . . The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked."
