New Creation Church to Help Needy with Food, Shoes, Clothing in Beaumont

A church spokesman is touting the grand opening of 'The Difference' facility at New Creation's Beaumont campus.

Volunteers with New Creation Church are planning a grand opening of a facility called "The Difference" in Beaumont, where needy families and individuals are welcome to free groceries, shoes and clothing while supplies last.

The event is scheduled 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday Sept. 15 at the church's Beaumont campus, 1252 Beaumont Ave.

"Join us as we bless our community with clothes, shoes, groceries & give life away," New Creation communications pastor Juan De La Fuente Jr. said in an announcement. This event is open to the public and is for anyone who is in need."

The church's clothing ministry director Jilana Dunaway and food ministry director Wendell Crawford will be available for anyone who wants to volunteer on the day of the event, De La Fuente said.
