More Closures for Interstate 10 and SR 60 in Beaumont Announced by Caltrans

Plans include full closure of the 10-60 interchange in all directions for three nights next week, according to Caltrans District 8 spokeswoman Shelli Lombardo.

Sign installations and road, ramp and drainage improvements will cause more closures on Interstate 10 and State Route 60 in Beaumont over the weekend and next week, Caltrans announced Friday.

The planned closures will include full closure of the 10-60 interchange in all directions for three nights next week, according to Caltrans District 8 spokeswoman Shelli Lombardo.

- The westbound 10 will be closed at Beaumont Avenue from 11 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday, Lombardo said. Westbound motorists will be able to use the Beaumont Avenue ramps to detour around the closure.

- The eastbound 60 connector to the eastbound 10 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Wednesday next week.

- The eastbound 10 connector to the westbound 60  will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Wednesday next week.

- The westbound 10 connector to the westbound 60 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Wednesday next week.

- Multiple lanes will be closed on the eastbound and westbound 10 from Oak Valley Parkway to Pennsylvania Avenue from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday next week. At least one lane will be open at all times, Lombardo said.

- Work on the shoulder behind barriers will be under way on the eastbound and westbound 10 from Oak Valley Parkway to Pennsylvania Avenue from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday next week, Lombardo said.
