Legislators Invited to 'Spring Picnic' with Pass Rotary Club

The event is scheduled 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday May 20 in the Sun Lakes Country Club Main Ballroom. Tickets are $25 per person.

The San Gorgonio Pass Rotary Club has invited legislators who represent them at the local, state and federal levels to attend a May luncheon at the Sun Lakes Country Club.

The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday May 20 in the Sun Lakes Country Club Main Ballroom. Tickets are $25 per person. No tickets will be sold at the door, organizers said.

Invited guests include Rep. Jerry Lewis, R-Redlands, State Sen. Bill Emmerson, R-Hemet, Assemblyman Paul Cook, R-Yucca Valley, and Riverside County District 5 Supervisor Marion Ashley.

Billed as a "Spring Picnic with Your Legislators," the event is also a fundraiser for community projects of the San Gorgonio Pass Rotary Club, according to Audrey Nathan.

All Pass area residents are invited, Nathan said. The security office for the Sun Lakes gated community is at 850 S. Country Club Drive.
