Full Night Closure on SR 60 Both Ways for Slope Maintenance in Badlands

The closure is scheduled from 11 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 9 to 4 a.m. Thursday Nov. 10, a spokeswoman for Caltrans District 8 said.

The 60 Freeway will be closed in both directions between Beaumont and Moreno Valley for about five hours overnight next week, when work crews plan to work on eroding slopes next to the eastbound 60, according to Caltrans.

The closure is scheduled from 11 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 9 to 4 a.m. Thursday Nov. 10, between Interstate 10 in Beaumont and Gilman Springs Road, Terri Kasinga of Caltrans District 8 said.

"Motorists and the trucking industry are advised to use I-10 as an alternate route to avoid the closure," Kasinga said in a statement.
