Clinton to Endorse Ruiz, Other Democrats at SoCal Rally

The former president will speak at UC Irvine this week to voice his support for Dr. Raul Ruiz, among other democrats running for office.

Former President Bill Clinton will formally endorse congressional candidate Raul Ruiz at a rally in Irvine this week.

According to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Clinton will appear at a "California’s Voice" event at UC Irvine to endorse Democratic congressional candidates in Southern California.

Besides Ruiz, Clinton will endorse Julia Brownley (CA-26/Ventura), Alan Lowenthal (CA-47/Long Beach), Scott Peters (CA-52/San Diego) and Mark Takano (CA-41/Riverside), the DCCC said.

The event will be held at the Bren Center on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 5 p.m.

Ruiz is hoping to unseat Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack, who's held the Palm Springs district since 1998.

It's the democrat way, Linda....they can't compete on the issues, so they turn to their hate tactics.

No surprise at all, Linda. And yes, I just hate that.

Too bad Clinton wasn't a Republican, cause you have to admit he could sell scales to a snake. Doesn't matter, lots of Dems are going to be voted out.

Good heavens, I'm thankful he ISN'T at Republican. He should be able to sell scales to s snake. Kindred types stick together.

Too funny, Mariana. You're right.
