Beaumont residents are encouraged to head out this weekend to a free celebration hosted by the city in honor of 100 years of city-hood.
On Sunday, Nov. 18, the city is hosting a "Centennial Block Party" which will feature things like a bounce house for the little ones, live music, historical presentations and a car show. You can also check out what's being put into the city's new time capsule-- all at Civic Center, 550 E. 6th Street.
