Banning 'State of the City' Thursday

Attending the address in city council chambers is free. Tickets for lunch and entertainment to follow at the Gathering Hall are $20 per person.

A Banning 'State of the City' event is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 29, at council chambers and at the new Gathering Hall.

Anyone can attend the address for free. Tickets for lunch and entertainment that follow the address are $20.

Check-in for the State of the City address begins at 11 a.m. in council chambers at Banning's Civic Center, 99 E. Ramsey St.

Lunch and entertainment with guitarist/composer Steve Oliver follow at the San Manuel Band of Serrano Mission Indians Gathering Hall, 127 N. San Gorgonio Ave., around the corner from the Civic Center.
