Woman Facing DUI Charges for Allegedly Crashing Into Motorcyclist While Drunk

The San Diego woman is jailed in Banning on felony DUI charges, according to jail records.

Felony DUI charges were filed Thursday against a San Diego woman who was allegedly driving drunk when her car crashed into a motorcycle carrying a man and a woman in Palm Springs, seriously injuring both riders.

Kelli Lyn Mihos, 27, is charged with two counts of DUI causing injury, with sentence-enhancing allegations of causing great bodily injury. She was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon at the Larson Justice Center in Indio.

Mihos was arrested Monday, about two hours after the 1 p.m. crash on East Ramon Road at Calle Abronia.
