Vehicle Overturns on Eastbound Interstate 10 in Banning
The CHP reported a vehicle struck a center divider on eastbound 10 east of San Gorgonio Avenue and overturned just before 6:40 p.m. Monday. Multiple lanes were blocked and eastbound traffic slowed to a crawl, according to reports from scene.
A vehicle struck a center divider Monday evening on eastbound Interstate 10 in Banning and overturned, blocking multiple lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 6:39 p.m. just east of San Gorgonio Avenue, according to the CHP.
Reports from the scene indicated a sport utility vehicle was over the speed limit when it struck the center divider and overturned, according to the CHP.

An ambulance crew responded but there was no specific information about possible injuries, a CHP dispatcher said in a phone interview.
A tow truck crew got the overturned vehicle off the freeway and onto the shoulder by 7:15 p.m., the dispatcher said.
