Vandals who struck at two locations in San Jacinto, firing pellets into windows, remained at large Friday.
The non-injury shootings occurred Thursday evening in the 200 block of Idyllwild Drive, near the Ramona Expressway and North San Jacinto Avenue, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies were called to a house around 7 p.m. to investigate a report of property damage resulting from BBs being fired at a living room window.
Several rounds struck the double-pane glass, cracking it. A resident told deputies he heard the shots but never saw who fired them, according to the sheriff's department.
Not long afterward, similar damage was discovered at a facility located in a nearby park.
Anyone who might information about either incident was asked to call the sheriff's San Jacinto station at (951) 654-2702.
