Three Men Caught in Sheriff's Decoy Operation Buying Alcohol for Minors

Three men were caught illegally buying liquor for an underage decoy during a sting operation in Moreno Valley, a sheriff's sergeant said Sunday.

Ten liquor stores were targeted for Saturday's day-long effort, and they all complied with laws prohibiting the sale of liquor to minors, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Brian Holmes said.

But three people outside the businesses did not follow the laws that prohibit buying alcohol for requesting minors, he said.
