As a Veteran (Navy) I am looking forward to attending this event. It is good to have a full understanding on our Legislative Affairs .The State of California is in need of solid leaders to lead our State with Good wisdom .I believe that Good Government is based on the individual and that each person's ability ,dignity, freedom and responsibility must be honored and respected.
Russ Russell September 14, 2012 at 12:04 PM
Ask him if he supports giving Illegals a driver's license. He was the one who wanted the School District to boycott Arizona because of 1070. No business of the School Board to get involved with that
Mr C September 14, 2012 at 12:27 PM
If Orozco was the only person on the ballot I would have to write in someone. Empty suit and liberal hack, just what this state needs to push it over the cliff.
ATC September 14, 2012 at 02:06 PM
I agree 100% with both Russ & Mr C.
Joel JAY Ortiz September 14, 2012 at 03:14 PM
It is good to understand the Legislative Affairs that affect our community ,I am glad you can put out you comments to bring awareness to the important issues that effect our Golden State .
Joel JAY Ortiz September 14, 2012 at 03:23 PM
The Principles of the past worth retaining are important.I believe that American value & should preserve their feeling of NATIONAL PRIDE and at the same time share with people a desire for peace and freedom and the extension of Human rights throughout the world .
Nancy Gall September 14, 2012 at 04:51 PM
I agree with Ortiz. I will be attending.
Mariana Zuelsdorf September 14, 2012 at 06:23 PM
@Mr Ortiz, Your very well stated comment shows that you support illegal immigration; a very important issue in California. I'm pretty sure that others can read between the lines too. Don't sell those, who are passionate concerning illegal trespassers, short. Illegals are involved in a lot of California's problems, including the economy.
Lifer in Bmt. September 14, 2012 at 06:33 PM
Nancy, you agree with Mark Orozco also.. That is why you are out of touch with most people in Beaumont. You & your friends want Beaumont to step back 30 years & stay that why. Nancy do you support giving Illegals a driver's license ? Hope you answer that. Let's hope the election vote retires you from the City Council. And that Mark Orozco retires too.
ATC September 14, 2012 at 09:17 PM
Orozco, Ruiz, others like them (Nancy, Ortiz)...have never met one of MY dollars they didn't want to spend.
Lifer in Bmt. September 14, 2012 at 10:25 PM
They got in your pocket too huh? Just like Obama!
Mr C September 14, 2012 at 10:31 PM
Huh?
ATC September 15, 2012 at 12:38 AM
All Dems are alike. They all want to save the world...on our dime.
Nancy Gall September 15, 2012 at 02:09 AM
I don't believe driver's licenses are an issue in this campaign. Actually I am the only one opposed to excessive CFD taxes and excessive city regulation. The Republican councilmen are for this. They're the ones that are taking your money. I have trouble putting much stock in folks that can't give a full name.
Mariana Zuelsdorf September 15, 2012 at 03:27 AM
I do give my full name, and driver's licenses are a big issue in California, thanks to our less than stellar California legislators and governor. I'm sure not going to vote for anyone who supports and promotes illegal trespassers crossing our borders. Immigrants, my foot. Call them what they are.
Mariana Zuelsdorf September 15, 2012 at 03:53 AM
How sad that Mr Orozco was unable to find a Pass area restaurant in which to hold his fundraiser. I'm sure this event will help Redlands voters decide for whom to vote. Oh yea, wrong district.....
Mariana Zuelsdorf September 15, 2012 at 04:31 AM
Thanks for the giggle, Mr C! Mr Ortiz is using pro-immigration, pro-Obamacare, pro-welfare, pro-illegal speak.
Mariana Zuelsdorf September 15, 2012 at 06:49 AM
I have a life, Mr McDonald; thank you very much. If I were inclined to vote for Mr Orozco, you just blew it. I have a perfect right to want to protect our sovereign borders and that right is mine by birth. I am an American and will continue to fight to protect my country from people who wish to enter illegally, REGARDLESS of nationality. You are the one who 'assumes' I am referring to Mexico, and we all know what 'assume' does. And what have you done lately, Mr McDonald except to attack people who do not agree with your liberal thinking? Unlike you, I don't feel the need to use ****. It's childish.
Mariana Zuelsdorf September 15, 2012 at 06:14 PM
NOTE: Mr McDonald's post, to which I replied, has disappeared.
Jack Smith September 15, 2012 at 07:02 PM
Mr. Orozco has demonstrated his true liberal inclinations on numerous occassions. He supports illegal aliens entering this country; he advocates higher taxes in order to feed the public employee machine; he chides concerned parents at BUSD meetings so as to hide the underhanded dealings rampant at the Beaumont School District. The Pass and particularly Beaumont does not need more of Orozco.
Sheri Davis September 27, 2012 at 05:23 PM
Agreed. Just like the time Mr. Orozco tried - feebly at that - to tell me that I see the glass half full. Riiight. I called him out for that by informing him that I have been in BUSD/living in Beaumont since I was 12. My parents are still in the same house we moved into back in 1978. Orozco just wants to move into a bigger political arena so he can further fiscally mismanage it like how he's helped BUSD be fiscally mismanaged. It's only been in maybe the last year (just prior to him deciding to run for bigger political office) that he's decided to ask the hard questions. Should have been doing so from the beginning of being a board member, not wait until it suits your needs to make you look good. Just ends up backfiring and making you look bad.
Lifer in Bmt. September 27, 2012 at 05:34 PM
One of the best things happening during this election is: 1) Orozco will not be on the BMT school board any more, 2) He will lose his election also. Goodbye Mr Orozco !!!!!!!!!!!
Joel JAY Ortiz September 27, 2012 at 08:34 PM
I had the chance to meet Mr.Orozco how bad of a Hack is he ,He seemed sincere to me .I am disabled and he even picked me up to go to a Political meet and greet. I was also invited to his fund raiser event .He seems very concerned about your water rights? What do you think yes or no.?
Jack Smith September 28, 2012 at 01:00 AM
Nancy, you are a real work...............
Janelle Pike September 28, 2012 at 05:32 AM
It is strange that in Beaumont its the Republicans who are regulating us to death, and taxing and feeing us to death. Four cats? Coming into homes to look? Waiting until after the election to break the bad news that everyone's sewer fees are going through the roof, for nobody wanted to admit there is NO money to update the waste water treatment plant? Beaumont is the most liberal city around- look out San Fran.
Tristan October 02, 2012 at 06:17 PM
Lifer in Bmnt...you enjoy hiding in the shadows as a blogger, not putting your neck out for anybody but yourself, it sounds cowardice to me. Obviously not a leader...please continue staying in the shadows it will be better for all of us! Sheri Davis...your remarks, I am sorry make look like a monkey! Monkey see, monkey do! I bet you've never attended a school board meeting in your life, the reality is you take bits and parts from others and have claimed to have spoken to Mr. Orozco or addressed the school board. Please if I am wrong, when was the last time? I will look it up on the minutes and audio and post on the patch and say I was wrong! Tristan Johnson Ret. USMC 3rd Generation Beaumont Resident
ATC October 02, 2012 at 07:57 PM
Really, Tristan? I find it hard to believe that you would EVER admit you were wrong, even when proven so. Just curious; why did you drop out of sight for awhile when I demanded that you show proof of your many bogus accusations against me in another thread? They were all blatant lies, that's why, and you could not provide a shred of evidence for them. So instead you ran away and hid. Sounds like cowardice to me. Both Sheri and Lifer have legitimate opinions; so rather than attack them personally for those (which they have every right to), I suggest you try to debate with FACTS instead. Unfortunately, FACTS don't seem to be your strong suit, do they?
