San Jacinto police on Saturday were investigating a fight during which a round was fired from a shotgun, though no injuries were reported, authorities said.
The shot was fired shortly before 6 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Minor Street, according to a Riverside County sheriff's sergeant.
A number of men were fighting at the time, officials said.
Investigators found evidence at the scene that pointed to the use of a shotgun, the sergeant reported.
