San Jacinto Sex Offender Sweep Nets One Arrest

Jail records indicate the man was taken to the Banning jail, where he was being held in lieu of $5,000 bail as of Thursday afternoon.

A registered sex offender was arrested this week following a compliance sweep, sheriff's officials announced Thursday.

Riverside County Sheriff's Sergeant J. Orona says San Jacinto officers conducted a sweep on Wednesday, at various locations throughout the city.

"Eight of the 11 registered sex offenders were in compliance with their registration requirement," he reported.  "Two of the registrants were not home and detectives will follow up to determine if the registrants are out of compliance."

37-year-old Wallie Bolling of Aguanga was arrested in the sweep, because sheriff's deputies learned he was living in San Jacinto concurrently, according to the sergeant.

"Bolling was found to be staying at a residence on the 900 block of Clover Street, in San Jacinto," Orona said.

Jail records indicate Bollling was taken to the Banning jail, where he was being held in lieu of $5,000 bail as of Thursday afternoon.
