Police: Woman Sexually Assaulted on Mt. San Jacinto College Campus

The sheriff's department is looking for the teenage assailant, who is only 15-19 years old.

A woman walking the track at Mt. San Jacinto college was sexually assaulted this weekend, and now the sheriff's department needs your help finding the man, police said.

It happened on Sunday at around 7 p.m., when she was exercising on the sports track alone, according to sheriff's sergeant M. Larson.

A hispanic man, only 15-19 years old, approached the woman from behind, Larson said.

"The male sexually assaulted her by unlawfully touching her for sexual gratification, without the victim's consent," he said.

She was able to free herself eventually, and the teenager took off running, according to Larson.
