Banning Police Seek Burglary Suspect

Small electronics were stolen from Hair Pros Salon in Banning, according to police.

Police are still looking for a person who burglarized Hair Pros Salon in the early morning hours of July 5.

The suspect stole electronics from the salon, according to Sgt. Alex Diaz of the Banning Police Department.

"We are seeing an increase in burglaries," Diaz said. "Times are tough right now."

A photo capture from a surveillance video showing the suspect was posted to the Banning-Beaumont Patch Facebook page on Friday, but police asked that the photo not be posted to additional sites.

Anyone with information can call the Banning Police Department at 951-922-3170.

Why would the police not want the photo of the suspect posted? Don't they want the public's help in identifying him?

They basically say the suspect could see it and then destroy all evidence. It seemed as though the photo was posted on our Facebook page before they even took it to police.

Nah, why would the police want the publics help? They are too busy and that would cause them to actually have to stop, finish the reports, get the crook, and file it with the D.A.'s Office. They don't have enough police anymore for that. There is only 26 or 28 cops left over there now.
