Police: Robber Shoves Woman To Ground, Steals Cash

The alleged crime happened Monday in San Jacinto, and police need help tracking down the culprit.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who is accused of pushing a woman to the ground, and stealing from her in San Jacinto.

The robbery happened around 5:20 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of San Jacinto Avenue, Riverside County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Rose McKinney said.

"The investigation revealed that a Hispanic male approached the female victim from behind, pushed her to the ground and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from her person," McKinney said.

The female was uninjured, McKinney said.

The suspect is described as approximately 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 190 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt, tan pants and a black baseball cap.

Anyone with information about the robbery was urged to call sheriff's investigators at (951) 654-2702.
