Christmas Light Parade in Beaumont

Volunteers, city workers and police helped the 15th Annual Christmas Light Parade shine Saturday night on East 6th Street.

The Beaumont Cougars Marching Band helped lead the procession from near 12th Street south on Palm Ave and west on 6th to Beaumont Civic Center.

A city lawn mower, golf carts, pickup trucks, a public transit bus, a trolley bus, floats, police vehicles and fire engines were all decked out in holiday lights.

There was a party after the parade at the Civic Center, where cookies, cocoa and coffee were be served to everyone.
