Overnight Closure on SR 60 Both Ways for Slope Grading in Badlands
Full closure of the freeway between Interstate 10 in Beaumont and Gilman Springs Road in Moreno Valley begins at 10 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 9, according to Caltrans.
State Route 60 will be closed in both directions between Beaumont and Moreno Valley from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 4 a.m. Thursday so crews can work on eroding slopes next to the eastbound freeway in the Badlands, according to Caltrans.
The closure will be from the 60 junction with Interstate 10 in Beaumont to Gilman Springs Road, Terri Kasinga of Caltrans District 8 said.
Motorists and bigrig drivers are advised to use the 10 as an alternate route to avoid the closure.

Crews will be grading eroded slopes next to the eastbound 60 near Jack Rabbit Trail, Kasinga said.
