Three adults and six children were displaced Tuesday by a fire that damaged their Banning residence.
The non-injury blaze was reported around 9:15 a.m. at a 2,000-square- foot residence in the 400 block of North Evans Street, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.
There was no immediate word on what caused the blaze, which was contained shortly after 10 a.m.
