A man suspected of fatally stabbing his wife was in custody Thursday, following his arrest in Beaumont, it was reported.
Robert Ramirez, 49, of Rancho Cucamonga was arrested near Highland Springs Road and Second Street in Beaumont, according to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
He is accused of killing Pamela Ramirez at their home, according to the Bulletin.
Ramirez was taken into custody by the San Bernardino County sheriff's Specialized Enforcement Division, the news agency reported.
San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies were called to a home in the 8000 block of Tulsa Place, in Rancho Cucamonga, about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Bulletin.
Neighbors had complained about loud arguing in the home, according to the newspaper's website.
Pamela Ramirez, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
Ramirez fled and was found in Beaumont, the news agency reported.
The investigation was continuing.
