Sheriff's officials are investigating the "suspicious" death of a man who was found dead in the hills south of San Timoteo Canyon Road this weekend.
His body was wound around 3 p.m. Saturday in a hilly area west of Lake Shore Drive, according to sheriff's Sgt. James Burton.
"The body was located approximately three hundred feet below a ridge line in the hills," according to Burton.

The man's identity and cause of death will be released pending a coroner's investigation, according to the sergeant.
Burton did not say who first found the body.
