Man Suspected of DUI in San Jacinto Crash, Two People Hospitalized

The Riverside man was booked into the Banning jail on felony DUI charges, jail records indicate.

A man suspected of slamming into two cars— sending two people to the hosptial— in an alleged DUI crash bailed out of the Banning jail Wednesday.

32-year-old Paul King of Riverside is accused of driving under the influence Tuesday night in San Jacinto, according to the sheriff's department.

"The investigation revealed the driver of a Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Ramona Expressway approaching Sanderson Ave., when the driver failed to stop for the red signal light and collided with two occupied vehicles," sheriff's sergeant Joey Nardone said.

The two people in those cars were then transported to the hospital with injuries described as "non-life threatening."

King was arrested at the crash site, and taken to the Banning jail, where he was booked on felony DUI charges, jail records indicated.  He posted $50,000 bail Wednesday.
