A man was struck and fatally injured by a sedan early Monday on State Route 74 in Hemet, according to the coroner.
Mark Haley, 55, was a pedestrian walking on the 74 west of Warren Road when he was struck at 1:12 a.m. Sept. 2, coroner's personnel said in a statement. He was pronounced deceased five minutes later at the scene.
Haley's city of residence was not released by the coroner. Hemet police were investigating.
